Prepare Your Space:
• Be out by 10 AM on your last day – take final utility readings. No extensions. 🕙
• Remove ALL of your personal belongings and rubbish. 📦
• Clean and vacuum your unit, corridors, kitchen and bathroom. 🧹
• Contact the council for proper disposal of bulky items. 🚮
Key Return:
• On your final day, leave keys on your kitchen counter & room keys in the door - where possible double-lock and post back through the post-box for collection. Confirm with PM. 🗝️
Closing council tax and utility accounts:
• Take pictures of your final utility readings. ⚡
• Contact providers and close accounts: Gas, electric, water, council tax, phone & internet. 💳
YOUR GUARDIAN GUARANTEE
• Email a named statement of closed utility bills and council tax – showing all paid 📩
• Confirm the bank account details: account name, number and sort code 🏧
• Once we receive confirmation, along with proof and bank details, we'll return the guardian guarantee. 💸
